Palermo 06/05/2023 – The Targa Florio Regularity Rally, round of the Italian Average-Speed Regularity Championship, will celebrate its final act for the first time on the roads of myth, in the cradle of legend, in front of what were the pits of the oldest race in the world. The important moment will be hosted from 5pm today, Saturday 6 May 2023.
The regularity race will end at the famous ‘Tribune’ to ensure maximum visibility, given the important value of the event with the participation also of the President of the Automobile Club of Italy Ing. Angelo Sticchi Damiani. The staff of the Automobile Club Palermo together with the ACI and ACI Storico technicians have located the awards ceremony in a unique and inimitable context such as the Tribune of Floriopoli.
Currently leaders in the classification are Marco Gandina and Carlo Merenda on a Fiat Ritmo 130 Abarth, ahead of Paolo Concari and Cristiano Androvandi (Lancia Delta) and Nicola Manzini with Roberto Ricci on a Lancia Beta Coupè all from the Scuderia del Grifone. The competitors will now contest the last three average stages, then will pass through Termini Imerese at the Belvedere Principe di Belmonte at 16:15 and then go up to the Tribune for the spectacular finale.
